10% of litter pulled out of the river Thames is composed of plastic bottles. We all know that plastic pollution is causing harm to the environment, but how can we reduce our reliance on single use bottles?

Here are three ways that Pure is making it easier than ever for Londoners to say no to plastic bottles:

1. We offer filtered still & sparkling water taps in (almost) all our shops which are completely free to use, even if you’re not a customer.

2. You can pick up a Pure reusable bottle in any shop for just £9.95 and refill for free anytime, or we have glasses for you to use in store.

3. If you really need to buy a bottle of water, we now stock Belu Water, sold in bottles made from 50% recycled plastic with profits donated to Water Aid.

At Pure we have always prioritised sustainability. Our shops are powered using renewable energy, our salad bowls are made from 90% recycled plasticand we offer a 50p discount to all customers who have a reusable cup, but we know we have a lot more to do.
