Pure and The Felix Project

Our partnership with the Felix Project over the last 18 months has meant that as we have opened and closed shops – and had a lot of food waste as a result – we know that our leftover food has at least gone to a good place.

 

One of our General Managers has been leading our work with the Felix Project over the last few years so we thought this would be a good chance for you to get to know our lovely Ewa a bit better…

 

What did you do before you worked for Pure?

I finished a Master’s degree in International Relations in my country. I did couple of months of pretty boring admin internships and decided to take a break and to travel…

 

What is the best thing about working for Pure?

I feel proud of our sustainability mission: free filtered water, no extra cost for milk alternatives, reusable cup discounts. It is great to see that customers appreciate this too.

 

What’s your favourite dish on the menu?

I’m obsessed with new menu. Salmon Lovin’ grain bowl and So Clucking Good wrap are banging! And of course, I’m addicted to our amazing coffee.

 

What would your superpower be?

In current circumstances I wouldn’t mind being able to teleport myself where I want as travelling has become such a nightmare!

 

Who would play you in the film of your life?

I would give the honours to Scarlett Johansson (to attract the audience haha!)

 

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Buying more plants/flowers than I can fit in my flat and/or garden!
